Qiutong Peach is a late-maturing peach tree variety bred by Wang Zhiwei, an horticulturist from Qingzhou Yifeng Seedling Co., Ltd. It features no need for bagging and self-pollination. This variety has a semi-open tree form, with mostly compound flower buds. The fruits are round in shape, averaging 336 grams in weight, with the largest reaching up to 438 grams. The fruit surface has a yellowish-white base color and, when fully ripe, 85% of them have a bright red to purple-red halo. The flesh is light green and white, seedless, with a sugar content of 18%. It can be stored for over 20 days at room temperature.
Qiu Tongtuo ripens in mid-September.
