Goose Egg lychee has exceptionally large fruit that is nearly spherical, with an average weight of 52.9 grams per fruit. The skin is red with a greenish tinge, and the flesh is a pale yellow-white. The texture of the flesh is crisp and the taste is sweet with a slightly mild flavor. The fruit is juicy without excess overflow, with the edible portion making up 74.1% of the total fruit weight. It has a soluble solids content ranging from 12.9% to 14.5%. Each 100 grams of flesh contains 24.64 milligrams of vitamin C and 0.25 grams of acidity.
