The maturity period is in early to mid-July, 7–15 days later than Guiwei and Nuomici.

The canopy of the Xianjinfeng lychee tree is semi-spreading, with moderate vigor; the branches are grayish-brown and moderately thick.

The leaves are long elliptical, with wavy and slightly twisted surfaces, tapering at the tips, and dark green in color.

The flower cluster is a compound raceme panicle, and the inflorescence is relatively short, generally 15–25 cm. The flower types mainly include male flowers, female flowers, and hermaphroditic flowers, with female flowers producing the most fruit.

The fruit is medium-sized, with a single fruit weight of 19–25 g and a maximum fruit weight of 29 g. The fruit shape is mostly oblate-heart-shaped and heart-shaped, with raised shoulders; the stalk is relatively thick and grows obliquely at about a 45-degree angle to the other shoulder. The peel is bright red, thick, and relatively tough; the tubercles are distinctly raised and irregularly arranged, with relatively flat and blunt tubercle peaks and shallow cracks; the suture line is obvious, shallow, and wide. The flesh is yellow-waxy in color, soft, smooth, and juicy, with a clean sweet taste and a slight honey aroma. The rate of aborted seeds is over 85%, the edible portion accounts for about 71–79% of the whole fruit weight, and the soluble solids content is 18–20%. Fruit cracking is minimal, with a cracking rate as low as 3.5–3.8%. It has a pronounced spherical fruiting habit and is high-yielding and stable.
