Description:
Zhongyou Jinyuan is a premium mid-to-late season yellow-fleshed nectarine variety, developed by the Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS). Released in 2020 with national Plant Variety Rights protection, this variety is distinguished by its exceptionally large fruit size, intense sweetness, and excellent eating quality.

Appearance:
The fruit is round and uniform, featuring smooth, glossy, hairless skin typical of nectarines. With a deep yellow ground color and 80% red blush coverage, it is highly attractive for fresh-market sales. Bagged fruit develops a pure golden-yellow appearance. The flesh is yellow, firm, and dense.

Flavor:
Exceptionally sweet with a soluble solids content of 14%, delivering a rich, satisfying sweetness. As a freestone variety, the pit separates easily from the flesh, providing a superior eating experience.

Size:
Average fruit weight is 292g–300g, with large specimens exceeding 400g – making it one of the largest nectarine varieties available.

Growing Advantages:
Self-pollinating and highly productive. The firm, slow-softening flesh supports good storage and shipping tolerance. Chilling requirement is approximately 600 hours, suitable for various growing regions.
