Product Introduction

Product Introduction
There are over 100 varieties of lychees, and new varieties are constantly emerging every year.
Now is the season for officially enjoying lychees. A large quantity of lychees are available on the market. Supermarkets, fruit stores, and street vendors are all shouting about the fresh lychees, with enticing phrases like "No need to pay if it's not sweet" and prices varying from high to low.
Litchi (scientific name: Litchi chinensis Sonn.) belongs to the Sapindaceae family and the Litchi genus. It is an evergreen tree, approximately 10 meters tall. The fruit skin has scaly protrusions, is bright red and purplish red. When fully ripe, it turns bright red; the seeds are all covered by a fleshy false seed coat. The flowering period is in spring and the fruiting period is in summer. When fresh, the fruit flesh is translucent and gelatinous, with a fragrant and delicious taste, but it is not suitable for storage.
It is distributed in southwestern China, including Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and Chongqing, as well as southern regions such as Guangxi, Guangdong and Hainan, and the southeastern regions like Fujian, Zhejiang and Taiwan. It is also cultivated in the southeastern part of Asia. There are records of its introduction to Africa, America and Oceania. Lychee is known as one of the "Four Major Fruits of the South" along with bananas, pineapples and longans.
Litchi is sweet, sour in taste, and warm in nature. It enters the meridians of the heart, spleen and liver. It can stop hiccups and diarrhea. It is an excellent food therapy choice for those with stubborn hiccups and nocturnal diarrhea. At the same time, it has the effects of nourishing the brain, promoting fitness, stimulating the appetite and benefiting the spleen. Due to its hot nature, excessive consumption can easily lead to excessive heat.

Description

Originally known as Xijiaozi.
The flesh is delicate and soft, with a sweet, fragrant flavor. It is juicy and melts in the mouth. The quality is excellent. The refrigerated shelf life is 25 to 30 days.
Main characteristics: Originally from Zhangmutou Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, the fruit is oval-shaped with a slightly reddish-yellow-green skin. The average fruit weight is 21-25 grams, with a shrunken seed rate of 95%, an edible portion of 81%, and a soluble solids content of 18.5%.

Product Features: The flavor is sweet, refreshing and crispy. It has a unique honey fragrance and floral aroma. It is sweet but not overly so, with a wonderful aftertaste. The kernel rate (small kernels) is high, and the quality is top-notch.
Appearance: The fruit is oval or heart-shaped, with medium size. The most distinctive feature is that when ripe, the base color of the fruit skin is slightly red or yellowish-brown with a hint of green, and the ridges (fruit skin scales) have a slightly prickly texture at the peak.
Main产地: The core production area is in Dongguan, Guangdong Province (especially in Zhangmoutou Town), and it has also been introduced and cultivated in other places such as Zengcheng and Conghua.
Maturity Season: It is a late-maturing variety. The maturity period usually occurs in late June to mid-July, several days later than Wumingshi.
?? Why is "Guanyin Green" so highly regarded?
Unique flavor: Its sweetness is very high-end, it is sweet rather than overly sweet, and it has complex honey fragrance and faint floral aroma. The sweetness is high but not greasy, and there is a long-lasting aftertaste in the mouth.
The "green" aesthetic appearance: It challenges the traditional notion that "the redder the lychee, the better". At its peak flavor, the fruit skin still retains a delicate shade of green, which is its unique sign of ripeness.
Scarcity: As a superior variety, its total yield is much lower than that of traditional famous varieties such as Guìwèi and Ruìmùzhī. Rarity makes something valuable.
?? Comparison of Similar Varieties
"Qianfeng Green" is often compared with top varieties, but its flavor is unique:
vs. Guìwèi Lychee: Guìwèi has a distinct aroma of osmanthus, and the flesh is crisp. The aroma of Guānyuán Lǜ is a complex blend of honey and floral scents, which is more elegant and restrained, and the sweetness is more delicate.
vs. Glutinous Rice Candy with Lychee: Glutinous Rice Candy is the epitome of "soft and sweet". Guanyin Green represents "crispy, sweet and refreshing", with a crispy texture and a more complex flavor profile.
vs. Xianjinfen Lychee: Both are late-maturing high-end varieties. Xianjinfen has a sweet and fragrant flavor, with bright red skin. Guanyinlv, on the other hand, stands out with its "green base" appearance and more complex aroma.
