The unique meat texture of "Crystal Ball" lychee is its biggest selling point, and it is easy to distinguish it from other varieties:vs. Guaiwei Lychee:
Common point: Both have a unique aroma (the crystal ball has a faint fragrance, while the osmanthus-flavored one has the fragrance of osmanthus), and both have small seeds.
Core difference: The texture of the flesh is the key distinction. The flesh of Guìwèi is crisp, while that of Xīngguāng Zhū is extremely crispy and crystal-clear, with a superior taste. The unique feature is that it doesn't drip when held in the hand.
vs. Glutinous Rice Candy with Lychee:
These are two completely different flavors. Rice dumplings are the ultimate example of "soft and sweet", while the crystal balls represent "crispy and sweet".
vs. Princess Xiaoxi Lychee:
The fruit of the 妃子 (Chinese loquat) is crispy and juicy, but it may have a slight tanginess in the sweetness. The fruit skin is a mixture of red and green. The sweet flavor of the crystal ball fruit is more pure, the fruit flesh is crisp and transparent, and the fruit skin is uniformly light red.
